The MUSC Student Mailing Lists (commonly referred to as the Class Composites website) and the information contained on it (both for mailing lists and for showing students photos) was decommissioned the week of June 5, 2023. As previously communicated to all Deans, Faculty, Student Services Staff, and Students, the reliability and completeness of the site was unpredictable and unstable.
MUSC is moving forward with a plan using Sailpoint (our new identity management system) to replace the email distribution lists. In the interim, colleges were directed to develop their own distribution lists for communicating with their students.
MUSC has updated D2L Brightspace to add a photo to the User Profile (which includes both instructors and students). D2L will automatically populate each person's User Profile with the MUSC ID badge photo. Users may replace their photo with another one, but if the photo spot in D2L is left empty, the badge photo will be automatically reinserted with the system refresh each day.
